How and When to Care for and Socialize Feral Kittens
Kittens should remain with their mother until eight weeks of age in order to learn proper cat behavior and socialization. Just as adult ferals have not been socialized with humans and will not interact well with them, kittens who are not properly socialized to other cats will become difficult roommates in a multi-cat household.
